Dads, Want to Become a Lake Seneca Watch D.O.G.? Here’s How

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Watch D.O.G.S.® pizza night event last week! For those who could not attend but are interested in becoming a Watch D.O.G., here’s what you need to know to get started:
Active in schools across the country, WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program that enables committed fathers and father figures to have a positive impact in the lives of their children. The goal is for every Watch D.O.G. to spend at least one day at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears. Click here for more information.
To participate, you need to do three things:
- Join the Watch DOGS 2018-19 Remind page to get access to the online calendar to choose your volunteer date: https://www.remind.com/join/k98kk6 or Text @k98kk6 to 81010
- Complete Mandatory MCPS Volunteer Training on Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/childabuseandneglect/#Volunteer. Email your certificate to Giuseppina_Alving@mcpsmd.org. Your training is good for three calendar years.
- Order your official Watch D.O.G.S. uniform shirt: www.DadsOfGreatStudents.com
We look forward to seeing all of you throughout the school year.
