Lake Seneca Chosen to Implement New Literacy Curriculum

The Montgomery County Board of Education has chosen Lake Seneca Elementary School to adopt a new English Language Arts curriculum. Lake Seneca will be one of 44 elementary schools in the county to fully implement the curriculum beginning in Fall 2019. A second group of schools will adopt the curriculum in Fall 2020.

The board approved the purchase of new prekindergarten through Grade 8 English Language Arts and Mathematics curricular and instructional materials and resources and support for professional development on Tuesday (January 8).
